Baie de Petite Cayes - Dec 2005 CT&L mag.

Has anyone heard of a somewhat secluded beach called Baie de Petite Cayes in St. Martin? It was written up in the December 2005 Caribbean Travel & Leisure magazine as a top 20 reasons to go to the Caribbean, but the location of the beach was not listed. There is a short hike that gets you to the beach. Thank you!

Baie de Petite Cayes is at the furthest northernmost point on the island. It's a very tedious long hike to get there. Easily accessed by boat.

Thanks for the quick response. The magazine says that the hike to the beach takes about an hour. We're in good physical shape and are used to hiking. Would you say this is hard from an elevation perspective, difficult to hike due to trail markings, etc. Any specifics would be good to know.

It's just a hot, sweaty hike. Nice refreshing water, then a hot sweaty hike back. Elevation or trail quality not an issue.
