CruzinSouth Posted June 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2004 I just posted this under Ask a Cruise Questions, but now realized I probably should have posted my question here. We're looking into booking a cruise for next year but wanted to know if anyone knows a site where you can check if a specific cabin is available? I thought I used to have a site bookmarked but I can't find it anywhere.

1stcruze Posted June 28, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 28, 2004 On Cruiseshopping.com after you pull up the cruise you're interested in you can enter a cabin number on the very bottom to see if it's available.
CruzinSouth Posted June 30, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted June 30, 2004 Thanks so much! I've tried cruisestateroom.com but I couldn't find that they showed what was available. It's a great site to compare rooms though. I'll try this other website. If they don't have what I want, at least it'll be fun trying. Thanks again! hollym Posted July 2, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 2, 2004 I don't think you'll find one website that will show all available cabins on any given cruise, not even the cruise line's website will do this. If I'm fishing for a cruise, I'll visit the big name websites for travel first (Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, etc.) to see which cabins they've got available, but I know that this is not an indicator of ALL of the cabins available on that cruise sailing. If you've got a particular cabin in mind, you have to ask for it by number to see if its available.
Boo's Mom Posted July 2, 2004 #7 Share Posted July 2, 2004 ....and, what is not available today, could very well be available tomorrow! TA's and travel website's will put holds on a particular cabin....and if the client doesn't come up with the deposit....the cabin becomes available again. A TA might hold a lot of 20 cabins...for a group. Only 10 cabins may actually get booked...and the 10 additional cabins will reappear.
