NCL Dawn best mode of transportation to dock

What is the best way to NY, bus, loco, auto? I think I'm leaning towards bus or loco. I hear it is very $$$$ to park your car at the dock.

We are coming from Plainfield CT. North eastern part of the state.:rolleyes:

It is $24.00 a day or $180.00 Max rate ( month ).

 

We usually take the train (Amtrak) the day before, round trip is about the same price as monthly rate for parking but no hassle! The bus schedule (Greyhound) is not very flexible!

we will be taking the Metro North RR from Waterbury to Grand Central. New Haven station has more trains, but Waterbury works better for the person giving us a ride to the train station. Then it looks like a short taxi ride to the port. Less than $50.00 for the two of us roundtrip, I purchased the web fare online.

Hi! A large group of my family and family friends are going on the Dawn in july. We have talked about several options as far as transportation. I belive that we have decided upon being taken down and picked up in a limo. It will be cheaper for all of us and will work out well. We live about 3-4 hours or so away (upstate NY). I can't wait to hear how your cruise goes on the dawn! Can you let me know what you liked when you get back??
