No, not on Carnival.

3% fee imposed for cash advance charged to S&S card.

$5.00 fee to use ATM, if you get there before it runs out of cash.

We used our seapass in the casino to get cash and had no extra charges on Royal Caribbean... I'm not sure about Carnival's policy, but I'll be anxious to hear what you find out since I'm going on my first Carnival cruise. I hear the atms have a hefty fee! I think you can cash checks on the ship...

The OP is asking about Carnival. There's a 3% fee.

AmEx cardholders may cash one check up to $250.

  • 2 years later...

Not sure which cruise line, but I think it was Carnival. I needed cash and the ATM was out, went to the casino cage and they told me 3% fee, but I could go to the pursor and get the money with no fee, do not remember there if I added it to the sail & sign or used a debit/credit card. Of course if you use a credit card you will need to pay their fees or different interest rate
