Glad I could help. It is nice to be able to return the favor after all the help these wonderful folks have given me over the years.

 

That is one of the things that is so neat about this board. It doesn't matter if this is your first cruise or your 50th, there is always something on here to help in ways you never thought of before.

 

For our trip on the Pride in March, the help came in the way of internet reservations (which saved us big bucks) to do the things we wanted to in Mazatlan and PV.

Questioned my agent about Platinum and he was not sure. He asked me if I wanted to call customer service and gave me a number. They answered right away I asked the question . They put me on hold and came back with the answer. "You are platinum ON your 10th cruise not your 11th. So I will see if that is so in APril.

Has anyone used this in Ft. Lauderdale? Our PVP e-mailed me a whole list of things that Platinum members get, so I'm assuming the VIP embarkation is in FLL as well as in other ports. Our cruise isn't until March, so no docs yet. It's a nice list of "perks." One thing that's of interest is a special tour of the ship with some crew members; sounds interesting.

about time carnival got with it and honor vip people and past guest that cruised many times with them.. We will be on the liberty in a few week feb 4th sailing and will let you know what is going on. Our doc does not have anything on them but we called carnival and they told us to use skipper club at ft lauderdale...
