toilets in the caribbean

Hi Everyone!

 

We are going to be traveling with a 9 year old girl who gets uneasy about using strange toilets. For example, when we have traveled to England, the toilets took her some getting used to. I think that she is afraid that they will overflow on her, as that has happened to her a few times and caused her to panic.

 

Seeing as we will no longer be in America, are the toilets in the caribbean any different than American toilets? If so, in what way? Hopefully we can prepare her before we go!

I don't think they are different.. Same toilets as the US I think...:)

I have not experienced any differences anywhere on St. Martin, St Thomas, or Tortola.

Does she know about the toilets onthe ship? If not, better prepare her for the noise and how to flush it and how often they back up. ;)
