It would depend on who your cell phone carrier is and what their area of coverage is.

I posted a similar thread recently (it turned in to a debate on why we need cells on vacation)

But...I spoke with a Cingular rep the other day and they said RCCL does have a contrct/agreement with them and that at a rate of $ 2.49 a min you should be able to use your phone. If you have trouble getting thru local wireless you should dial 611 which gives you diredt access to Cingular. We'll see if it works:)
