Starz723 Posted January 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2006 Yes bring your gear for sure. Its awesome! Keep an eye out for jellies. Ive been there 2x. right off the beach and behind the boulders has some really great snorkeling..go over to devils bay through the caves...or you can access devils bay from the top of the trailhead. My mistake was to go through the caves and not bring my fins..Its a bit of a schlep to carry them over and under the boulders. While at devils bay go along the boulders all the way out on the left side of the bay. go to where the boulders end....I saw great fish. It was a swim of a lifetime because I had no fins AND a storm was coming in:eek:. The chop got scary. Ill never do that again..I should know better, Im an experienced swimmer & snorkler. CaribbeanBound Posted January 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2006 We snorkeled, but didn't bring fins. Mask and snorkel was plenty. When we were there, you could rent snorkel gear from a vendor on the beach. The Baths are a load of fun! One of the most fun beaches I've ever been on. We loved Virgin Gorda and are going back this November.
