When to look for price drops.

Recommended Posts

I work for a very popular cruiseline group supervising construction of Company buildings at the peirs and private island holdings. My friends are always asking for information on getting good deals for them and I was told the following from the marketing dept. at WLCL. The absolute best pricing to vendors on the best selection of cabins goes out during a ten day period from 69 days out to 59 days out. She explained that the level of discount depends on the season and percentage sold at the 70 day mark. WLCL wants at least 65% sold at the 70 day mark with their optimal being 75%. She advised the best savings are found at 69 days out in the middle three weeks of May and throughout the Storm Season. The best embarkation ports to find the biggest discounts are Miami, Ft. L., and Galveston. Just thought I would share this little tidbit for those looking to lock a good deal
