Freestyle Dinners

Hello Evreyone,

DH and I are going on our first freestyle dining cruise. The 2 before were formal, business casual, etc. How should one dress for the different resturants on board? We are going on NCL Sun Eastern Caribbean in March.

Thanks for all of your input!

I have cruised on the Sun 4 x. Le Bistro is upscale and people dressed accordingly; the same for the Italian specialty restaurant.

In the "free" restaurants, folks were pretty much in khakis and golf shirts for the men, capris or slacks for the ladies.

The sushi bar and East meets West were the same, fairly casual. And so was the Tapas bar.

I dined at the specialty restaurants almost every night. I was not thrilled with Freestyle, especially travelling alone. So I made a reservation and dined at the time I wanted. (There were often lines for the no charge restaurants at peak times).

The Sun is a pretty ship with a nice crew. Enjoy!
