Cruisers on Liberty or Triumph

I am looking at a Christmas cruise for 2006. Never too early to dream/ plan!:) I was woundering if there were any cruisers out there who were on either Liberty or Triumph this past Christmas. How was it? Lots of kids? How were the lines? Chair hogs? Embarkation advice? Debarkation? It's been about 8 years since we last cruised Carnival- but never at Christmas, have cruised with RCCL, Celebrity and Holland America.

So, I'd appreciate any reviews you can give me. Liberty leaves Ft. Lauderdale and Triumph Miami. Thanks again! Gabrielle

I was on the Liberty this past November and it is a very nice ship. However, I cannot imagine being on it during a holiday. It is very large, and unless you are eating dinner at your assigned table in the dining room you can count on lines, lots and lots of lines (except at the fish and chips place). There were not too many kids there when we were there but that was because school was in session. The cruise following ours was supposed to over 500 kids and the week following had even more. So that being said I would choose a smaller slightly older ship that will likely not attract as many people. Also, I have never sailed a Spirit Class ship, but I've always heard great things about them.

I wasn't on Triumph during a "holiday" but I was on her in February, and during school vacation, no less...here's a link to my review. Hope this helps!
