Carnival Credit Card Onboard Credit

When you redeem credit card points for onboard credit....is that delivered to your home address in the form of a gift card....or is it automatically just applied to your onboard account?  I was going through the checkout process and it showed a shipping address as my home, and that threw me off a bit.

Ours showed up as a credit once we were onboard the ship.

Ours did too.  I was worried but there it was.

Yes just shows up as a credit.  To be safe I printed the receipt and confirmation info and brought it with me on the cruise....just in case.
