Best thing and worst thing about Caribbean princess

My first time aboard the Caribbean Princess, in 2011, I was disappointed only by the morale of the wait staff crew which was low and impacted the quality of the service we received from the wait staff.  After that we never sailed on the Caribbean Princess again until 2017 when we spent 24 days onboard doing two British Isles cruises back to back.  The crew was great.  The ship was in great condition and we have booked 28 more days aboard this ship for the future.

Never give up on a cruise line or ship because of one experience of poor crew performance.  Crew members and their managers change continuously.  Fill out post-cruise surveys honestly.  That will help week out poor performers and reward the good ones.

I'd really like to hear your opinion of the buffet food if you every get the opportunity to sail the CB again.

It had definitely changed & not for the better.

I thought the buffet food was good in 2017 and the newly configured buffet was an immense improvement over what is had been.  Only the Royal class ships have a better buffet.  The additional lunch items available back in the Planks area aft of the main buffet were great.  We loved the baked potato soup.

I will try to remember to post how the buffet food I will try in a few weeks compares to what it was in 2017.

That's why we're headed back to the Regal.

It's so much better.
