Canceling cruise excursions?

Recommended Posts

I had booked a couple of excursions directly through RCCL for my cruise on LOS next week before I found these boards. I'm wondering if anyone knows how difficult it would be to cancel one or two of those, so I can do things on our own now that I know where to go... The system is closed online and says to make any changes when we get on board.

We have cancelled once on board. Your tickets for the excursions should be in your cabin when you board. Take them to the excursion desk, along with your sea pass. Just be sure you go when the desk is open and more than 24 hours before the excursion. If the online site is already closed, your cruise must be close. Have a great trip!

On page 14 of my Docs I just recieved from RCCL -

Refunds and Cancellations:

No refunds are made for failure to use all of the described services included in the tour price. Cancellations by guests must be made prior to the closing deadline advised directly onboard the ship. Under no circumstances will refunds by made after an excursion has commenced.

So just cancel when you get on board at the exploration desk

If your cruise isn't until next week, I would say you still have time to cancel. I canceled an RCCL tour before our cruise in December. You do it online, and they will credit your credit card. You can always call RCCL to confirm, which I did, but I still had to cancel online, not over the phone.

Almost forgot...each person that there is a ticket for had to sign for the refund/cancellation. We are both adults, so don't know about the kids signing.

I am so sorry that I didn't give you a helpful answer. I had skimmed your post and didn't see the last line about the online system being closed.

As I recall, you can't get into the online excursions if your cruise is less than ten days away. As another poster said, you should not have a problem canceling on board.

Best of luck, and enjoy your cruise!
