Ft Lauderdale water taxi- help please

We'll be in Fort Lauderdale at the end of March for one full day/night.

 

We think the water taxi ($7.00 all day) is the way to get around town.

 

Any suggestions on this? What stops should we take? We want to go to the beach, maybe see some shops, cool sites, etc.

 

Any tips would be helpful to us. Thanks!

If you want to go to the beach, get off at stop 7 or 8... http://www.watertaxi.com/FortLauderdale/FLLMap.Asp

 

If you want nice shops and restaurants, stop 12 or 13 for Las Olas Blvd... http://www.lasolasboulevard.com/
