For the 10/17/05 cruise aboard the Constellation from Bayoone,we boarded at 12:30p-absolutely no waiting-took all of 15 minutes from unloading our bags to entering the ship-used express pass-the dinning room was open seating the first night out.

We were on the Oct. 17th cruise also & I don't remember the 1st nite out being open seating. Our stateroom attendant said it was but a waiter standing outside the dining room said dinner was 6 & 8:30. We showed up at 8:30 and someone asked for our card with the table # on it and walked us to our table.

So now I'm confused, you mean we could have showed up anytime & sat anywhere we wanted?
