Trolley Roger Tour

We haven't done this tour, but we spent a week there (last week), and we saw the trolley several times. It's an open-air tram with a top, with a guide up front using a microphone to describe the surroundings. They moved fairly slowly (at least when we saw them, they were), so you'd probably get a good look at things. I would think you'd get a good overview of the area, and it would be easy to take picutures.

My friend emailed me this about the tour:

The Trolley Rodger tour was enjoyable. There is no exertion necessary. You sit on the trolley during the entire tour. There is one stop at Pirate's Cove where the driver may allow you to get off the trolley to take some photos of the beautiful cove and to pick up some shells. There was also a "Mr. John" there to use since it is a public beach.

There is a town tour and a tour of residential areas so you get a taste of life in the Caymans.

The tour lasted about an hour and a half. The tour director/trolley driver was an adorable lady dressed as a pirate with a dagger in each of her boots and a gun in her belt.

Thanks so much for the info Sue. Do you know if they used the ship's excursion or if it is available when you get to port? If so, where and how much?

Sounds like just the ticket to get an overall " taste " of the island.

I really appreciate your efforts.
