Cruise Docs

Recommended Posts

We just received our cruise docs through e-mail. The e-mail stated that we will not be receiving any documents in the mail. Is this a new procedure? Just curious. Seems like a good plan! The only downfall is that we have to fill out our baggage tags at the pier. :( It's a "few" extra minutes that could be "better spent" on the ship!

Depending on how you booked you either get them by email or by mail. Some TAs will have them emailed directly to you to save money and time getting the docs to you. I know on my upcoming Brilliance cruise leaving on Feb. 24th I had the option of getting them in the mail or by email and I booked directly through RCI. I choose by mail - there's just something about having those docs in your hands, but obviously if I had wanted them quicker I could've gotten them by email.

We have had traditional docs, e-docs and pier pick up. They are all pretty much the same. All are very easy to use.

Yes you will have to write out your own tags, but it's easy to do, just have a marker or pen handy.

Our last cruise, we lost the docs the night before we sailed. Even no docs was easy....LOL
