Price Drip - Elation 6/20/04

I'm so glad I've found this board...It helps to be educated!

 

I've been calling Carnival every couple days and checking their website. Called today for the rates on Elation 6/20/04 and found they dropped $100pp in 4A, 4B, 6A and 6B. Called our TA (Costco) right away and they secured us a credit card refund of $100 per adult. Carnival's website does not reflect the lowered price, so I guess calling nets the best results!

 

By the way, I was paid in full, but the penalty period doesn't kick in till 4/11. Yippee!! That's enough for our tips!

good for you!!!! Glad to hear you're going to have a great cruise at a lower-than-planned-on fare!!!!

 

Our Elation cruise has also dropped by a total of $315 according to BPC online. Have emailed my TA twice with no results yet

Yahoo... Just wanted to share to fellow cruisers on Elation 6/20/04...Prices have dropped again...Just checked the Carnival website. Seems they've dropped $100pp (1st and 2nd) across the board...

 

Also, when I called Carnival, they mentioned there's a Fall/Winter Promo available which is an additional $100 off per person (1st and 2nd).

 

So, I called Costco and they checked with Carnival and are giving EACH of our 3 rooms a $200 ship board credit!! Yippee -- that was a $600 phone call!

 

And, we are paid in full and inside the 70 day penalty time....I'm thrilled!
