Upgrade/Upsell Fairy!

My family and I are booked for the Carnival Pride in July to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday! I received an email from Carnival to upgrade our deck 5 Obstructed View Balcony to a deck 7 Extended Balcony (side, not aft) for $28 (total, not PP)! I jumped on it but am having a hard time believing our luck. Any other amazing upgrade stories?

We are on Breeze in 2020 and got an email offering to move from a cove balcony on deck 2 to a standard balcony on deck 11 for a total of $54, which we took 😉

Our family is on the March 31, 2019 sailing of the Pride. Within a few weeks of booking our obstructed view balcony on deck 5, one cabin for 3, the other for 4 passengers, we got an email from Carnival. They offered both cabins to be upsold to a Cat 8k extended balcony for a $20 bill, for each cabin. SOLD! First time on a balcony. It was also from the front part of the ship, to the middle.

we got spoiled on our first cruise on the Elation.  Booked an Ocean View.   On Dry dock that was converted to a balcony.  A few days before the cruise we were upgraded to a Jr. Suite.  All free.   In the end booked OV and got a jr. suite. Nice intro to cruising.
