Knights on the Beach Posted April 8, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 8, 2004 From our past experience, the ship's time is definitely based on where the ship is sailing from, not where the ship is registered. The Glory is on Eastern time. Beth ~~~~~~~~~~~ Countdown to Glory Emerald Seas 6/86 Emerald Seas 11/87 S.S. palmtre2 Posted April 8, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 8, 2004 From what I was told (when I freaked out over our excursion time) Belize is 2 hours behind ship time. Cozumel & Progreso 1 hour. I wouldn't stop on the way back to the ship - but you should be fine. 4/10 Easter aboard the GLORY

DEL67 Posted April 8, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 8, 2004 We were just on the Glory last week. Ship's time is definitely Eastern time zone which at that time meant that Belize, Cozumel and Progresso were all one hour behind ship's time. From what you said, I assume that Belize does not move to daylight savings time so it is now 2 hours behind. You should be okay with a 2 PM Belize time/4 PM ship time return, as long as you are returned to the dock area or close to it. The last tender leaves at 4:30 ship time.
