Carnival Gift Cards

Say you put $100 from gift card on S&S Account and download $100 onto a slot machine.  You play only $50, can you take your S&S card to the cashier to get the balance of $50 out in cash?  Like you do when playing cash.

Don't do this for table games - you will get hit with a 3% fee for using S&S card. If so, apply gift card to S&S account, go to slot machine, add funds from S&S account, add to player bank, cash out at casino cage, go to table game with cash. Don't do this too often. Once is enough. Repetitiveness gets you noticed and on the list.

Easiest thing to do to avoid the "list" is to add funds from S&S, make a couple of plays and then cash out to bank & get money at cashier.  I had my account locked on one ship as soon as I downloaded funds & then cashed out to player bank (and it wasn't even to get $ for tables - I changed my mind about playing that machine).  Easy enough to unlock it, but then they were watching for it.

Yep - people also use the method to get "cash advances" from the credit card linked to the S&S without having to pay a fee or higher APR (and actually get any card rewards/cash back) since Carnival bills all S&S charges as a purchase, even those from where they used S&S for the casino, which technically are cash advances.

Hence the list and why Carnival watches 🙂
