Hulled Balconies

10514 is 5th balcony cabin back on the port side.

There's only four framed balconies on Deck 10, and I believe one is for the suite. That should place your cabin as the second regular balcony cabin.

Just checked out the picture again and I believe you are exactly right. That's ok..I've been drilling the rules into my daughter for weeks..... and she knows '....I'm not allowed on the balcony without mommy or daddy!'

These on NCL are much nicer than on the QM2, whose Hull Balconies come up to your chest/waist depending on ones height so that if you are lying on the chaise lounge or sitting in a chair you cannot see the ocean.

I originally booked a BE balcony gty and got a BD hulled cabin. Initially I thought I got shafted but from all of the comments regarding privacy, less wind, etc. I see that it was a good cabin to get after all!

Looking at the forward balconies on deck 8 of the PoAM they look framed too. We specifically chose them (3 in a row) because the balconies are larger than the standard.

 

Does anyone know if these balconies will have an obstructed view when sitting, or like the one pictured earlier on the Jewel. It's hard to tell from my brochure.

Assuming the Jewel and the Dawn are the same, the first two framed balconies are part of the OS. And the view from a framed balcony is just fine. :D
