Anyone have an info on Hampton Inn , Cypress, Ft. Lauderdale ?

Was this an old hotel/motel that was bought and renovated or is this hotel fairly new and built as a Hampton?

Thanks,

Giz

I believe that one was built as a Hampton Inn, but I don't remember how old it is. It's a bit farther to the north than I get on a daily basis. The area is fine, but only if you have a car. If you're relying on taxis the cab fare to/from the airport/port area will be a bit pricey, and you'll also need one to go to dinner.

Trent,

Thanks for your response.

Yes, we are renting a car. We have stayed in North Lauderdale a number of times and since we rent a car it is not a problem. I have Hilton points that I am going to use and this hotel has a deal for a very low number of points.
