Pin Exchange?

Anyone interested in exchanging the fantail pins Carnival is starting to hand out? I have an extra Spirit and Triumph pin. I would love to trade them for a Pride, Destiny or Jubilee pin.

What are these pins you are talking about and how exactly did you get them from Carnival?? My daughter collects disney pins and this would be something else I think she would like to collect since she loves to cruise now..any info is much appreciated..thx,

Too bad they haven't decided to make the "vintage" pins, would love to have ones for the Carnivale and Festivale to fill out the collection.

I have read several different times about these pins -- we have never gotten one with our past guest party invite ???

I believe they just started giving them out. We went on a cruise in March of 2003 and did not get one, but we did on this cruise. They must have done it about 5 or 6 years ago because I have a Triumph pin someone brought me back from their cruise.

You would not have gotten one last year if that was your first Carnival cruise. The pins come with the invitation to the past guest party. No past guest, no pin.

I feel like we have been slighted! We got a pin several years ago on our second cruise with Carnival on the Ecstasy and haven't gotten any since then. We have been on the Victory, Destiny, Imagination and Sensation and didn't get any of those with our invites to the past guest party ! We are cruising on the Legend in November and I will make it a point to ask about them on that cruise!

When I sailed on the Ecstasy for the second time last year, I din't get a pin or an invite to a past guest party! Hopefully, they will remember the pin and the invite on the upcoming Pride cruise.

I feel so slided !!!!! i have heard that they do that, but I have never seen a pin to this date. I was on the Conquest in 2002 and Glory in 2003 and still no pin. I am booekd on the Miracle this year and maybe I will get one then.

Maybe if I email Bob I acn get one. I know I am totally dreaming

And as crazy as this all sounds, if you don't get the pin you want, eBay has them for sale!! I've seen people get as little as $3. for a pin or as much as $12.50!!!

I have a coupla extra Holiday pins.

 

Once I got mine with the invitation to the past guest party, and last cruise, it was handed to me by the Captain as I entered the party.

 

This seems to be almost as erratic as receiving "Currents".....
