South Beach Hotels?

Any info on hotels in the South Beach area would be great? Thanks!

We stayed at the National - first class hotel, would stay there again - got a great rate on Expedia

You need to be careful with South Beach as most hotels are quite old. The nicer places have been gutted and modernized, the cheap places have not and are quite nasty! You also need to be aware that some hotels that call themselves "South Beach" are not in the REAL South Beach and are too far away to walk to anything from. These are all nice/decent South Beach hotels in great locations...
