TYTY Posted July 18, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2019 Does Verizon have cell service in the baltics?
rdt10 Posted July 19, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2019 (edited) You can add an international plan while roaming on foreign carriers. $70 for specific call, text, data limits or $10 each day you use your phone to have comparable to your domestic plan. It's pretty well spelled out on their website under international plans. Very expensive roaming fees without adding a plan. We sailed in 2015 on a Verizon Int'l plan (at that time it was much less at $40 per line) and had excellent service. We did not use data, though (only talk & text.) I personally think $70 for a one month Int'l Plan is nothing short of highway robbery but yes, DH just paid it on a trip to Australia. Enjoy your cruise! aqua Posted August 18, 2019 #7 Share Posted August 18, 2019 Check out the Travel Pass. Add it to your phone plan for free before you travel. You pay $10 per 24 hours to use your phone and data plan just like you are in the U.S. You only pay if you use the phone. Upon request, Verizon will send you an email with darling directions specific to your phone and countries you are visiting. Please note that you should only use this on land vs the ship!
