Pre-Cruise stay

We just booked a cruise for next January on Navigator of the Seas out of Miami. Our TA recommended flying in the day before due to possible weather problems here. Since we have never been to Miami, can someone recommend a hotel in the area. Maybe one that may have some kind of sightseeing close by that we can do the one day that we are there. Thanks for any help we can get.

Thanks for the info. This is the first time we have gone a day before a cruise and the first time in Miami.

That's the ONLY way to do it... It's just too risky, stressful, and tiring flying in on the day of your cruise.
