My Sister-in-law and her husband are going to Grand Cayman on a Cruise next month.

She is intrested in going to Sting Ray City and would also like to go to "The Wall" (they are dive certified, but they are not sure they want to dive this trip).

Anyway, is there any tours that hit both? And if more than one, what is your recomendation as to the "BEST".

Thanks in advance!!!!

In the scuba world, the Cayman Islands are known for the sheer underwater walls. A short distance from shore the undersea floor drops away sharply into the abyss in a wall that surrounds the island.

The top edge of this wall is about 40 to 70 feet underwater. Perfect for scuba diving, but not so great for just snorkelling. The water is certainly clear enough to see the edge for the drop all the way from the surface, but you can't see a lot of detail. It'll be hard to distinguish the various corals and to see the abundance of small fish that call the reef home.

It's fairly unusula to take snorkelers to a site on teh edge of the wall. I'm sure if they want to charter a boat, the cpatian will be happy to take them wherever they want to go.

But if they are already scuba divers, why not dive? If skills are a little rusty, I'm sure they can find a review with a local divemaster before their trip. Talk to a local dive center.

One of the Princess excursions is SRC & a North Wall dive. Did some research and they use Resort Sports which is located at Spanish Bay Resort.

If Carnival soesn't offer it as an excursion, they could probably set it up themselves.
