Road To Hana

Recommended Posts

I wrote an email to a tour guide in Maui. We have done this tour with him before, but had much more time on the island.

Now we tender in Lahaina, arriving 7am and departing at 5pm and he wrote, that time is too short for Hana road.

If I remember well, we had a 9 hour tour and it was wonderful.

We have to go for another tour on Maui.

Alec, if you search on the road to Hana you'll discover a treasure trove of info about this journey. Short answer: It depends. The journey is the point, not the destination. Go as far as you want, see what you want to see. I've known people who start early, go quite a way, turn around, and be back at Mama's for lunch.
