5:10 flight out of FLL....What to do?

Checked out the excursions through Carvival....sold out.....Transfers are $20pp.....there are 4 of us......Cab seems less expensive. Would you rent a car and sight- see.....Desperate for suggestions. Thanks!

Depending on which airline you booked with, you can usually stanby for free for an earlier flight. I always book a light flight out of Miami, but never end up taking it. I usually get to the airport about 10am and end up on one of their 12pm-1pm flights.

Rent a car, that will cost much MUCH less than $80 and you can do some sightseeing and stop somewhere for a nice lunch before going to FLL.

Just go across the SE 17th Street bridge and you'll run right into a very nice beach just beyond the Sheraton Yankee Clipper. There's a parking lot and changing rooms/showers all right there.
