Scorpiorose Posted January 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2006 I'm sailing on Miracle in April, just myself and boyfriend, but I am also planning a family reunion cruise in '08 for 20-25 people. We'll have some over 70 and little kids and 20's, the whole range of ages. I was elected the travel agent, yikes!!! Any suggestions for such large group? Any ship better for this or ports of call? Does anyone suggest a differenct cruise line? I've got time but want to have everything well planned! Any info. you have would be helpful! Thanks!
jleq Posted January 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2006 Carnival does an excellent job in working with all age groups. As far as a specific ship goes, that depends on your family's desires/interests

Make the first job finding an actual cruise agent. Doesn't cost you anything and they can do the multiple phone calls, set up the group, arrange the air, and weed through all the extras! And then when they call and say you qualified to sail free....just sit back and enjoy!
D4 Posted January 30, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2006 I would imagine that you have work and school schedules to deal with, so I would first find out when every one is available. If you have to work around traditional school schedules, you'll most likely have to pay peak prices. Many ships have different itineraries thoughout the year. Once you determine the timeframe for the cruise, then you can find out the available itineraries for the different cruise lines.
