doverite Posted January 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2006 Sailed on Mariner, Jan 2, 06. Had an awesome time. Will the other RCCL ships be disappointing after such a great new ship? Also, we did the western carrib. Looking for an eastern cruise Dec 30, 31st, 06 and the mariner will be doing the Western again. Any recommendations - should we try a different cruise line? wrp96 Posted January 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2006 Since you were so impressed with the Mariner, take a look at the Navigator (Mariner's sister ship). She is leaving on an Eastern Caribbean itinerary on Dec. 30th with stops in San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Martin, and Nassau. She gets rave reviews, and I've seen a lot of people that like her even more than the Mariner (and they loved the Mariner). I also don't think you would be disappointed with the Jewel of the Sea's 8-night Eastern itinerary leaving on Dec. 30th. It is a slightly smaller ship than Mariner but has more glass and is probably even more beautiful as a result. You'd also get the advantage of an extra port in Antigua. grandmaof7 Posted January 30, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2006 We sailed the Mariner, than Majesty, than Enchantment. Doing Brilliance in 2 weeks and Freedom in October 06. Love all RCCL. You won't be disappointed in any of their ships. Also did a Carnival(Pride) & Princess (Star) So far RCCL out shines all others.
