Can you book from the P & O website?

I am trying to book a cruise directly with P & O on their website. I am having trouble navigating around the site and finding out what to do and how to book. :confused:

 

Has anyone done this before and can give me some hints and tips?

 

I hoped to do it tonight.

I don't think you can book online although not 100% sure, I personally would try a TA as I have always found them cheaper and more helpful than P&O.

Sorry Jenny, can't help you on that one. All I can tell you is that once when I rang P&O regarding availability and booking, they told me the availability and then told me to book through a TA.

 

I've never seen a section for online booking and I've been on the P&O site for 5 years. Unless it's hidden in there somewhere (the site has changed over the years and I don't think it has to offer what it used to).

I booked direct through P and O on the phone. they took deposit etc.

I noticed that a couple of travel agents are offering $100 ship credit if you book with them. Many people have been happy using online TA. Doesnt hurt to email a couple and find their best prices. You could then go to TA and ask them to better quotes. Not sure there is much leeway with all the cheap prices around at the moment

We also booked our cruise directly through P&O by phone. They took payment by credit card for both the deposit and the final balance.

We also booked through P&O by phone. They took my two payments by phone. It seemed pretty quick and easy but we were also wondering if maybe we could have gotten onboard credit or upgrade if we'd used a TA. Oh well... :)

Sarah, you can always try for an upgrade when you board. I've never thought of that until I read it on this board somewhere. I'll give it a go as well since we've got an inside cabin.

You can't book online, with P&O unless you are booking through the UK web site. (Which since your all Australian - i think, isn't really any help)

Much cheaper to go through a TA. Friends of ours booked direct by P&O and they got charged the full price. We got our TA to book on the same cruise and we got about $2000 off. Gayle
