Can you please tell me how many formal nights are on a 5 day cruise. Also does anyone have any capers from the ship ?

One more question any suggestions on what to do in Playa Del Carmen ?

Playa is terrific--try a ruins tour...they are incredible out there!

When you stop in Calica there is an Ecological Park - XCARET. I haven't been myself but I've heard lots of great things about it and plan on going there myself. They have the tour through the ship and I'm told they run buses back and forth all day. Unfortunately they don't stay there very late so you miss the night shows.

Well, when we went last month the ship stopped at Calica and we rented a car and drove to Tulum. One of the reasons we chose this cruise was to see some Mayan ruins, and boy did we pick some good ones to see! The place is amazing~~~not to be missed if/when the opportunity presents itself. So beautiful and awe-inspiring. Sorry to say we do have recent capers but, alas, I also have NO CLUE how to do scanning! Sorry I'm no help there!
