Elaine515 Posted April 20, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2004 Exactly what was planned....When we were in Cozumel it rained on and off all day...We had planned and did Mr Sanchos and Horseback Riding. Heck, we were going to get wet in the ocean/swimming pool anyways, whats the difference???
almitra Posted April 20, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 20, 2004 Yeah, I agree with the previous poster. We do what we planned cuz rain seldom lasts all day. imatarb Posted April 20, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 20, 2004 Yep, unless it's a torrential downpour that's predicted to last, I'd just do whatever was planned. It usually clears up in a short amount of time. Lisa Monarch of the Seas - '94 Royal Majesty - '96 Until VICTORY is ours
jedgar Posted April 20, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 20, 2004 I have been both on shore tours and onboard sea days when it rained. What I did was get wet. A little rain never stopped me from my activities.
celtic selke Posted April 20, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 20, 2004 We were on a snorkel-beach excursion in Cozumel and the rain started while snorkeling. By the time we got to the beach part, I think it was a monsoon. Everyone ran for the tables with umbrellas. We were lucky to get a thatched palm covered table because the umbrellas started to blow away. Everyone else got under the big pavillion and started drinking. Some people did go in the water and held the rafts over their heads. The tops of our hamburger rolls blew off down the beach. All you could do was laugh and drink some more. Finally we got back on the catamaran and we danced and sang (and drank) in the rain all they way back. The sun was shining beautifully by he time we docked. Actually it was one of the most fun excursions we ever did. Let it pour! celtic
