I know somewhere I read about a one night mother's day cruise out of NY. Not even sure if it's on Carnival. Anyone have any info on it? I want to look into it. Thanks.

Yes, we did and had a GREAT time. Lets see...advice: We realized 2 days into our trip that the buffet for lunch outside by the pool (which only serves hot dogs, burgers, salads, etc.) is different than the buffet inside. We thought it was weird that they would only serve dogs and burgers for lunch until we finally realized that inside was different. LOL. And the only complaint we had the entire trip was that the hot tubs weren't open enough. They were open all day (when it was hot outside) but closed at night (which is usually when people want to soak in them) Oh well.

The ports were fun. Didn't really care for Freeport. It was cold and windy that day so we didn't go to the beach like we had planned. Nassau was fun. It was our third time there. We rented mopeds (one of the best things we did), toured Atlantis and did a snorkeling excursion to Athos Islands.

We went with our best friends who were first time cruisers and now they are hooked!

Feel free to ask me any questions you might have, I'd be happy to help.
