Upgrade auction???

We got an offer to bid on an upgrade.  Have any of you done that?  I'm a bit hesitant as spa and have cabins are higher on the ship....more ocean movement.  I don't get terribly seasick on big ships, but I can feel a bit queasy.  If you've done this can you offer "on the cheap side" and still have a chance of getting the upgrade?  Does anyone know how full our sailing is?  Thanks,

We purposely will NOT bid on a spa mini-suite because those can be under the pool deck.   If you prefer a lower deck, you CANNOT change your cabin if you get upgraded via the bidding system.  There are some great cabins in really bad locations - so buyer beware.

And yes, I have heard of people getting upgrades on minimum bids.  If you want it, you should try for it.  It doesn't matter how booked the ship is - cabins become available when people cancel, change cabins, etc.
