texas greeneyes Posted January 31, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2006 Are there obstructed view balcony rooms on the Conquest? I am considering booking a balcony guarantee, but might not want to risk it if I have to take a chance on ending up with an obstructed view. Thanks! mrdood Posted January 31, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2006 Some locations are better than others, but a BL GTY is a great way to save money and enjoy a balcony - we did that on the Liberty last month. If we are just booking one cabin, we will probably always do that. Until we have a really bad experience and "will never cruise again":D

mrdood Posted February 1, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 1, 2006 NO - ZERO - NADA - obstructions on the Conquest class ships - they are very well designed!
psycoma Posted February 1, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 1, 2006 My pvp told me that I didn't need to worry about an obstructed view on the Conquest when I asked her this question when booking my bal guar. :)
texas greeneyes Posted February 1, 2006 Author #7 Share Posted February 1, 2006 Sorry, mrdood. I did not notice the title of your reply; thank you for your answer. As the kids say these days, "my bad." :o Looks like I'll be going for the balc gty!! :D
BrendaB1 Posted February 1, 2006 #8 Share Posted February 1, 2006 As long as you book a 8A Guarantee, you should be fine. That puts you above the lifeboats.
