xan51090 Posted November 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2019 We just booked a premier cruise for April 2020. In looking at our cruise documents there is nothing noted on them nor the luggage tags to indicate we booked this. Is this normal?
4133raw Posted November 4, 2019 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2019 It should say "Priority" on your luggage tags. That is the only thing on our Premier cruise we have booked for Feb. 2020. I did email casino@carnival.com with booking # and VIFP# to confirm what all was included with that offer. They did return my email a few days later with answer so I printed it out to take just in case! My husband is supposed to get a lot of Fun Play so just wanted to make sure that happens. lmb84 Posted November 5, 2019 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2019 We did a Premier in May of this year and have booked 1 for May 2020....You get priority boarding, (we were already Platinum so always get that)....but there are perks in the Casino...Every nite we came back to the room there were little gifts, ie, bottle of champagne, box of salted caramels from the "Cherry on Top" store, cookies, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate bars, cards....etc. etc. We had fun.... motherwhite Posted January 21, 2020 #5 Share Posted January 21, 2020 We booked a Premier for Feb 2020. My boarding document/tags did not have Priority listed on them. I called Carnival last week and asked why they did not have the Priority showing on the documents. The customer service rep told me that the Priority wording would not show until 2 weeks prior to the cruise date. I checked again today and the Priority is now showing. pjhootch Posted January 21, 2020 #6 Share Posted January 21, 2020 Basically the answer is "yes", it is normal. Print out your premier offer and take it with you. We have never had a problem but - just in case. Your DOU cards will be in your cabin and you keep those with you sign and sail for when you are in the casino. When you print your final docs close to sailing they should have priority on your luggage tags. Assuming you have a casino cash offer. Go to the casino cage when it opens and give them your S&S card. They will either load your casino account with promo credit or hand you cash- depending on the ship. Do NOT miss the premier party the first day with free drinks. We frequently get distracted and let that slide by. There should be an invitation in your cabin when you board.
