BA vs. B4 on Escape

I read that a B4 family balcony sleeps 4 instead of 3 on a BA but does this mean that the room will be more crowded with an extra bed? Looks like the cabin sizes are the same. Any particular reason why people would prefer one over the other (other than the extra bedding)?

Thank you.

The B4 Family Balcony is only on Deck 9 whereas BA is on Decks 14 and 15. Some BA Mid-Ship Balconies are larger (up to 108 square feet compared to the 32 square feet in B4). The 4th sleeper option is a pull down from the ceiling.
