Opera 2/18 Cruisers-Let's pick a spot to meet

I know that there are not many of us on these boards but let's think about how, when, and where to meet. The more the better to have some fun. We are not going to worry about the negative posts and plan to have a good time finding the good points of the cruise.

My husband and myself will be on the Opera 02/18 as well. I enjoy gathering information off of these boards and we would look forward to getting together with others once we're on the ship. Just let me know when and where.

Bar 'La Cabala' looks like a good spot. Not having been on Opera before I am just guessing but the pictures look good.

 

I'll suggest 3:00 PM to meet. If this conflicts with the life boat drill let's plan on 15 minutes after the life boat drill is over.

 

Please list your names and if you wish I'll put together a consolidated list on the 15th.

In case "LaCabala" isn't open,suggest plan B, llPatio/Rest./bar which is just outside buffett on way to pool. Just a thought.:)

Il Patio will have a buffet going when you get on board. It has many tables and gets quite conjested. La Cabela is open but there were quite a few people in there just as the ship was getting ready to leave. My suggestion would be the casino. You can get in there but it's not "open" until you get to International waters so it's vacant. Just outside the front entrance are some nice couches. The mini-golf deck was void of people as well.

Deb & I decided to leave a day earlier than planned. Leaving for Ft. Lauderdale today. Staying at Courtyard at the airport.

 

Will plan on meeting anyone available at 3:00 in the Bar 'La Cabala' or right after life boat drill if it conflicts.

 

You can recognize me as the older one with glasses and absolutely no hair. My wife is the prettiest one in the bar.
