How is the weather generally.......

I was wondering..hubby asked, about the weather in late April in the W Carribean? Are seas rough,does it rain mostly? If you have any idea please let me know thanks!!:)

Well I'm not sure about late April but the first cruise I went on was on May 9th and the weather then could not have been more perfect! Clear skies, warm temps and smooth seas. It's as close as you can get to late April without actually being in April! Hope this helps...

Generally, its nice that time of year but that doesnt mean it cant rain an entire week...... It can also be beautiful and sunny and calm seas all week during hurricane season...

The weather in the Caribbean is mainly 70-80 during the months of October through April. We always cruise in Feb, when there is snow on the ground here in the Northeast USA but we put our shorts on and enjoy the summer conditions down in the Caribbean!

 

Rain may come, don't ignore that fact, but usually it comes in spurts and maybe rains for a few minutes at a time..then the sun comes out and it's beautiful all over again!!

We went last April & the Sun was shining everyday except on our last sea day back to port. We could not believe our luck!

We took our first cruise last April to the Western Carribean and had great weather the first 4 days, the last day was cold and windy so we stayed inside. We still had a great time.
