Ship building contest

Does anyone know if Carnival has a ship building contest going on during the cruise? On Celebrity and HAL they have them and they're a lot of fun.

 

We're leaving on the Miracle on March 12. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

They had the ship building contest on every one of our Carnival cruises! It was fun, although we built the SAME ship each time...lol

Im just back from the Triumph and yes they had one, on the last sea day. Only one person entered it.

Had one on each of my cruises. Several entries last week and a couple of them were really amazing! I did not get to take any photos though because I was "preparing" for the synch swim contest I was in directly after the ships raced :D

Stacy & Tim, dqAlex, and Liza MM - Thanks for the info. We built one last year on the Maasdam (HAL) and would've won hands down, but alas, we forgot to put ballast in our soda bottles. The damn thing flipped over on it's side and wouldn't float.

 

We won every other category too. Another group of about 10 people built a really big one that barely fit in the hot tub. We came close though and had the best presentation too.
