OWB advice/opinions

Hi all,

Could use some quick advice/opinions. We are working with a couple of TAs now to *hopefully* get a trip on the TP set for this September. We're found one airfare option that is substantially less (close to $1K) than our others. Our flight would get in to Tahiti early Monday AM, ship doesn't leave Tahiti until Tuesday PM. Only drawback is we'd be leaving early AM friday, 2:35am, after the cruise which ends on Thursday.

I really want to spend 1 night in a overwater bungalow. If we are leaving at 2:35am Friday it seems like a waste to book one for Thursday night. My fiance suggested we either: book one for Monday night at the start of the trip and get on the ship Tuesday, or get off the ship at the end on Wednesday night and stay in one then. Does anyone know if you can get off early, it is scheduled to arrive in Tahiti at 8pm Wed night? Which would you choose?

Thanks!!

We're booked on the TP in April and have booked an overnight at the Bora Bora Pearl Beach resort while the ship is at anchor. We're staying on for a few days in Tahiti after the cruise at the Intercontinental but I really wanted to stay at an OWB in Bora Bora so we figured this was the best way to do it. Just a thought for you to consider....

I would definately get off the TP a day early and stay in your OWB. I wish we had more time there it was truly amazing! I think you'll enjoy it more without the jet lag stuff.

I know of 2 couples from our cruise that left the ship early (one couple got off on Rangiroa and one got off in Bora Bora) with no problems at all.

Enjoy and Happy Honeymoon!
