Cancellation insurance offered by HAL

We have always used a Travel Insurance for our cruises separately from the cruise line.

Just booked the TA cruise and added the Platinum CPP (Cancellation Protection Plan).

Any thoughts on whether to add an additional Travel Insurance to this HAL plan?  Does

anyone know if this will cover starting on the ship or when you initially fly out to Italy if

you are not using their flight ease?

 

We are very excited about taking this cruise again.  We were on the Nieuw Statendam TA October, 2019.
