kronbel Posted February 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2006 Does anyone know about the train system from Rome to the port in Civitavecchia?
teedee Posted February 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2006 Sorry, I don't know about the train system, but if you have a large enough rollcall I'd suggest getting a group together & renting a bus. We did this on the Galaxy TA last October and it was only 9 euros a person for a very nice bus. Terri
Susan-M Posted February 13, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2006 We took the train from the port (Civitavecchia) to Rome (Termini, which is the main station) in Sept. It takes about 1 hr 20 mins. Cost was 9E for return ticket, including use of subways in Rome. Here is the website to obtain schedules: http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html If you look on the Europe Board there are some posts on taking the train into Rome. Let me know if you have more questions.
