How was the pool caribbean/reggae band during the hot sea days? Also, who was the CD, and how was he? Any idea who the captain was, and how was the food (specialty restaurants)?

Funny thing about it is... according to the TV, the oasis pool temp was 84!

 

Ricky M. was the Cruise Director

 

The Reggae band was OK, not enough reggae.

 

Captain was Peterstdam sp? (I know because I killed him in the mystery dinner theater)

 

My Opinion only!

 

Cagney's ($20)was the best!

 

Lebistro ($15)was good

 

Teppanyaki ($12.50)was pretty good, not to much showmanship but then I wouldn't juggle knives in rough seas.

 

Bamboo ($15 i think)was OK, not worth the cover IMHO.

 

Main dining is good (when there is something that floats your boat)

-Lobster (day2 ) was just OK.

I think you get more to eat in the speciality rest. only because there are more choices.

 

Every night during the first half of the cruise, Cagnay's, LeBistro, & Bamboo are 1/2 price for 5:30 only reservations.

Capt., Peterstam left for vacation on 2/12 for three months.

 

Le Bistro still the best pay restaurant.

 

Impressions still the best no-pay restaurant for dinner;)

On our Jan. 22nd Dawn cruise, there were no half-price nights in any of the specialty restaurants at any time on any night? Perhaps business was so poor that they restored them on the following cruise?
