Does anyone know if NCL permits gift baskets from outside vendors to be delivered as bon voyage surprises in the stateroom? Has anyone ever done this and have a recommendation for a vendor who will custom assemble a gift? Sailing out of San Francisco, also possibly looking for a source in Victoria BC as well. Newbie here, sorry if this is a silly question. Really want to surprise my DH...

Not a silly question at all!

 

I would suggest calling NCL and asking them directly. There have been some recent problems with people having liquor delivered to the ships - the problem got so huge that NCL stopped accepting deliveries from that particular vendor.

 

Have you tried checking out the Bon Voyage gifts available on NCL.com? Perhaps you'll actually find just what you're looking for right there! :)

 

What type of items are you looking to have placed in the basket?
