Queen Mary

I am sailing on the Pride May 28th. I have heard and read numerous chats about checking in on or by the Queen Mary. I am going to stay in Long Beach the day before the cruise. The Queen Mary offers Carnival cruisers a discount. My question is, is it worth stay here a day before the cruise? Is it convient?

It is right next to the Carnival ship. I stayed there.

A few years back I was in Long Beach doing some consulting work and stayed on the QM for 2 weeks. I thought it was really great. The restaurants, bars and rooms, all in their original decor. I had a great time. :D

Queen Mary has a wonderful brunch! A bit pricey, but very nice and Champagne is included! Many people do early check in and then have brunch at the QM!
